Is p2p Encrypted?

Is there a mechanism to encrypt our p2p traffic?

All younity traffic, including LAN traffic, goes over SSL. In the case of LAN and P2P traffic, we use client-side certificates (that are nonetheless CA signed) to enable SSL.

If you are referring to end-to-end encryption, younity does not do that, because it would make audio and video streaming impossible with many A/V players we support.

Please let me know if that answers your question, or if you would like more detail about anything. Thanks!
